Ethnic Print Silk Velour

Sweeping long coat with Miao tribe metal plate embellishments, cut in a beautiful, dynamic silk velour with Chinese ethnic patterns that are derived from designer Xiang Gao's extensive visual research. Tradition here is reincarnated, cut in a contemporary mac coat shape with oversize shoulders and a supple, fluid drape. The slight sheen of the pile velour creates a glinting and glowing effect when light hits the coat at different angles, introducing a dynamic quality--almost like the fuzzy speckled glow of a metropolitan city sweeping by through the window of a car or through the eyes of a stumbling, bewildered partygoer. Past meets present in a psychedelic flurry in Penultimate's 'After Party.'

Finished with hidden placket front button closure, single back vent, plain cuff sleeves, and single ornamental bejeweled top collar button. Fully lined in lime green polyester.
